As an approved contractor enrolled with the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting, ABS Electrical Services Ltd can offer complete design, construction, inspection, testing and certification for all commercial, industrial and domestic electrical installations.

We have been established since 1990 and became a Limited Company in 2007. We have carried out works at Universities, hospitals, colleges, schools, retails outlets, offices, office blocks, factories and private dwellings.

Construction Line

We are a member of Construction Line. As a member of Construction Line we are a prequalified supplier with up to the date records covering Company details, Finances, Health and Safety, Equalities and Environmental information.

HS Direct and EL Direct

We are a member of HS Direct Ltd and EL Direct Ltd. As a member of HS Direct Ltd the UK health and safety service provider, we are provided with all our Health and Safety Assistance, including current and updated H&S Regulations and Risk and Method Statements. As a member of EL Direct we are provided with comprehensive employee and subcontractor management services.

Design

From the initial enquiry to drawings, installations, documentation for new works, additions and alterations to existing installations, ABS design to optimise safety and savings. We use Autocad and the NICEIC endorsed computer aided design software for schematics, calculations, reports all to the 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations BS7671.

Construction

All installations works carried out to BS7671 and by approved electricians and apprentices. Depending on the size of the contract, works are supervised by the qualified manager or electrical engineer with health, safety and welfare of the public, other trades, people connected or affected by the works in mind at all times. All materials and plant used are approved by BS/EN.

Inspection and Testing

Inspection and testing engineers are trained to C&G 2391 with computer based NICEIC Certification for electrical installation conditioning reports, electrical installation certification and minor works certification.

Fire alarm and emergency lighting testing and inspecting to BS5839 and BS5266 complete with certification. Lightning protection systems inspected and tested to BS6651 complete with certification.
